Obituary for Susan Graviano Feinstein

At 3:18PM on Tuesday May 31, 2022 after nearly decade long fight to emerge from a Vegetative State, Susan Lucille Graviano Feinstein, age 50 of the Old Mill Basin section of Brooklyn ascended to Heaven to join her predeceased mother Pat Graviano (nee DeSantis), her Grandma Lucille DeSantis (nee Calise), Grandpa Vic DeSantis, her uncle Eddie DeSantis, her Godmother Barbara Gravius (nee Tufariello) and the rest of her beloved family who will welcome her home in Heaven with a homemade feast of Grandma Lou's Spaghetti & Meatballs in gravy.

Susan was a graduate of Lafayette High School and went back to school to learn how to work with special needs children. Susan worked at Trius School for Adults which was where she met and married the love of her life, Mitchell Feinstein on August 24, 2003. Susan's Grandma Lou always told her and her siblings to find a way to "Do something you love and you will never work a day in your life." That became Sue's motto. Despite having none of her own, Susan had a wealth of patience with "her children" and would brag to anyone who listen about each and every one of their hard earned accomplishments

Susan cherished and spoiled her nieces and nephews, She loved to write and was a lifelong NY Yankee Super Fan and could quote players, line ups, wins, losses and actual stats with the expertise of a major league manager.

Susan is survived by her husband Mitchell Feinstein, her brother Paul Graviano, her sister and brother of the heart: Patty and Frank Gioffre, her nieces Kristen Gioffre and her husband Matt Garbin, Marissa (Boobah) Gioffre, Danielle Gioffre, Domenic Gioffre, her Godfather and Uncle John and Aunt Eileen DeSantis, and sea of cousins from her large Italian family along with her father Paul Graviano, her-in-laws Steve and Michele Feinstein, sister-in-law Laura Feinstein, nephews, Micky and Preston Feinstein who will all miss her dearly.
