Robert Groenewold, "Bobby", 68 years old of Brooklyn, New York passed away on March 8, 2022. Bobby was born in Brooklyn, New York on January 19, 1954. He worked as a supervisor in security at Methodist Hospital for more than 20 years. He was a limousine driver and also worked in the funeral business.
Bobby is survived by his wife Marie, daughter Denise, granddaughter Gianna, brother Ralph, his wife Elena and nephews Christopher and Craig. Bobby is predeceased by his father Ralph, mother Rose Helen and his brother Jack.
Bobby was a proud and loving father to his daughter Denise whom he always shared his admiration for with everyone. A loving grandfather to his only granddaughter Gianna. He was the best father figure that any child could ask for. They shared a special bond that Gianna will cherish forever. Bobby was the best friend that any wife could ask for. He went above and beyond to help Marie throughout his life. Bobby truly was a good hearted soul with a heart of gold. He would do anything to help everyone, and he did. He was a man you could always count on. Bobby truly was one of a kind. His loss will be felt by everyone who had the privilege to know him. He will forever live in our hearts and there will never be a day that we don't think of him. God protect him until we meet again in the Kingdom of Heaven.
