Ralph Joseph Ascanio of Brooklyn, New York, died peacefully at home on February 9, 2024, after a short battle with cancer. He was 61 years old. Ralph grew up in Brooklyn, New York, he went to South Shore High School. He was passionate about The New York Mets. If the Mets were home Ralph was most likely at the game! Ralph is survived by his wife Joanne, son Vincent, Ralph was predeceased in death by his parents Madeline and Jospeh Ascanio and his brothers Albert and Johnny. He was very close to Joanne's sister Barbara and brother, Anthony. He was loved and cherished by his family including his sister Johanna and her husband, Rick; his brother Joseph and his wife, Bessy; his sister-in-law, Terry and sister-in-law, Lucille and all his many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his name to The VNS Hospice or St Jude's Children's Research Hospital.

A service will be held on Friday, February 16, 2024 at 10:00am at Mary Queen of Heaven Church at 1326 East 57th Street Brooklyn, New Tork
