Obituary for Mary Ann Brigantic

After a hard-fought battle with Corticobasal Degreneration, a rare degenerative brain disease, Maryann Brigantic was called to her Heavenly home on April 22, 2023 at the age of 80. Her final moments were spent peacefully in her home in Brooklyn, New York.

Maryann was born June 25, 1942 to Vincent and Antoinette Pasquarelli. She grew up in a loving family with her brother Ralph Pasquarelli. She went to Wingate High School and worked several jobs, most notably over 20 years at the IHOP in Georgetown Brooklyn N.Y. and in Public School 203 in Brooklyn N.Y.

Maryann married Joseph Brigantic on August 18, 1963. She is survived by her three children: Joanne (Ralph) Ascanio, Barbara (Steven) Petrelli and Anthony (Sharyn) Brigantic and her five grandchildren: Vincent, Gabrielle, Nicholas. Madilyn and Lauren.

Maryann was an active member of The Christian Heritage Church. As a result of her generous spirit and pleasant personality, she was loved by many. Her Christian life was displayed by her concern for everyone around her and will forever remain in the lives of all who knew her.

Maryann loved children, cooking, sewing and reading the Bible, She was always happy to do something for other people without caring about her own needs. Her good humor and generous spirit touched everyone she met.
