Angus Anthony DaCosta, age 75, passed away at home in Maryland on December 4, 2021 after a long battle with heart disease.. Angus was born on January 4, 1946 in Kitty, Georgetown, Guyana, the third of Olga DaCosta's five children. He emigrated to the United States to study in 1969 but, shortly thereafter, enlisted in the United States Army. After two years of service, he was honorably discharged and moved to New York City.

In 1976, he married Nelda Williams. Together, they had two children. Undeterred by the brief detour, Angus earned his Bachelor of Business Administration in 1984. Angus played competitive table tennis as a child and enjoyed playing dominoes. He also loved all things football (soccer) and continued to play at South Shore High School well into his 50's.

Angus was predeceased by: his mother; his brother, Lennox; his sister, Patricia; and his wife. He leaves behind to mourn: his daughters, Jennifer and Danielle; his son-in-law, Chad; his granddaughters, Camila and Brielle; his sister, June; his brother, Vernon; his niece, Jane, and many other nieces and nephews.
